XAT Eligibility 2022

XAT Exam is one of the toughest exams for Management courses but eligibility required for appearing in XAT is the simplest one. Almost all the entrance exams eligibility criteria are very lengthy and cumbersome. But for XAT all the students who have completed their 3 years Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for appearing in the exam. The XAT exam eligibility has not much changed over the years. It is expected that this year XLRI does not suppose to change the eligibility criteria for XAT 2022.

 Following is the eligibility criteria which the candidate must fulfill to appear for the XAT 2022.

The best part of eligibility criteria of XAT is that it does not state any minimum percentage of marks required for appearing in the exam. Any graduate and final year appearing students can register them for XAT 2022. The eligibility for appearing in the XAT exam varies as per the nationality, age, education, and program selected by the candidate. Detailed information about the eligibility on different criteria are given below:

Eligibility criteria for XAT as per Nationality

• Candidates with Indian citizenship can apply for XAT 2022.

• NRI & Foreign candidates can apply through GMAT score.

Eligibility criteria for XAT as per Age limit

• There is no restriction regarding age limit in appearing for XAT examination

Eligibility criteria for XAT as per Academics

• A Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration us required
• Candidates in the final year of Graduation can also apply for XAT examination

Eligibility criteria for XAT as per Program

1. For Human Resource Management

• Bachelor’s degree, minimum of three years from a recognized institute is required.
• NRI and foreign students can apply through GMAT.
• Final year appearing students can also apply

1. Business Management

• Bachelor’s degree, minimum of three years from a recognized institute is required.
• NRI and foreign students can apply through GMAT.
• Final year appearing students can also apply

1. General Management Programs (PGDM)

• Bachelor’s degree, minimum of three years from a recognised institute is required.

• Experience of 5 years in Managerial or Supervisory post

1. Business Management Program (Part Time)

• Bachelor’s degree, minimum of three years from a recognised institute is required.
• Final year appearing students can also apply

Number of Attempts

• There is no bar on the number of attempts by a candidate for appearing in the XAT examination but most of the students take 3-5 attempts for XAT.

Points to Remember

1. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be evaluated on the basis of the practice followed by the respective University.

2. In the case of CGPA or grades, the conversion of grades to the percentage of marks would be based on the procedure followed by the University or Institution.

3. Candidates are required to maintain a valid email account and must have a valid phone number.
