MAT 2021 Exam Pattern

MAT Exam Pattern 2021 defines the structure of MAT question papers including subjects, type of questions, marking scheme and other exam details. MAT Exam Pattern 2021 is not much changed from the last MAT exam. It is held four times a year for MBA and PGDM courses.  AIMA has announced the MAT 2021 Paper Based Exam (PBT) will be held on 5th September 2021, and Computer Based Exam (CBT) will be held on 21st August 2021. The question paper of MAT 2021 includes 5 sections: Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehensive, Data Analysis, and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence, and Critical Reasoning.

MAT Marking Scheme

  • Each candidate is awarded a +1 mark for a correct response.
  • -0.25 marks are deducted for an incorrect response.
  • Each section carries equal weight-age of 40 marks.
  • The maximum marks which a candidate can score are 200 and the scaled score is given out of 800.
